2018 Adopt-a-School Day Project
During the JCI Hawaii 1st Trimester State Convention, the Hawaii Kai Jaycees submitted interest in becoming the hosting chapter of the JCI Hawaii’s annual Adopt-a-School Day Project. Without challenge from the other chapters the Hawaii Kai Jaycees was awarded the project to lead.
Commemorating the 11th year of the project, both Mayor Kirk Caldwell and Governor David Ige presented a proclamation to the Jaycees.
While the project was hosted by the Hawaii Kai Jaycees, members from other chapters joined the committee to help the project. Members from JCI Filipino Jaycees, Honolulu Chinese Jaycees, Rising Phoenix Jaycees, Kapolei Jaycees, and the Asian American Junior Chamber came to help support the project.
