To promote transparency and accountability, we have begun to organize our financial information to be made available, so that it is clear that our funding serves the purpose of the organization, which is to provide development opportunities for young adults and positively impact the community. The Hawaii Kai Jaycees (HKJC) is a 501 (c)(4) Not-For-Profit Organization. Donations are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Please consult with your tax advisor if contributions are deductible as a business expense.

On June 10, 2019, we were approved to be exempted from registration with the Hawaii Attorney General Tax and Charities Division since we receive less than $25,000 in contributions each year and do not pay a professional fundraiser.
